Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Hydraulic Design Engineer for a fully remote role based in the United Kingdom. The position offers a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 plus pension and benefits, with the chance to lead bespoke hydraulic projects across diverse industrial sectors.

You will design hydraulic systems from concept to manufacture, develop power units and control systems, produce 3D CAD models and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust fluid power

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing hydraulic systems for industrial applications.
• Strong 3D CAD skills, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience producing manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Ability to size components and perform hydraulic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke hydraulic systems and fluid power solutions.
• Develop hydraulic power units, manifolds and control systems.
• Produce 3D CAD models and manufacturing documentation.
• Generate BOMs and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support through manufacturing, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with suppliers and project teams to ensure delivery.
• Ensure designs meet relevant standards and best practice.
