This role involves leading the design of hydraulic systems and producing detailed 3D CAD models. Candidates must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and strong knowledge of hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, circuit design.
• Experience with steel fabrications and weldments.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.
• Understanding of fabrication and machining processes.
• Knowledge of electronics and control systems is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of hydraulic systems and structures.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and technical documentation.
• Carry out engineering calculations and validation activities.
• Support prototype builds and product validation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production teams.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with suppliers on specifications and quality.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
