Job summary

Arden Resourcing Limited is seeking an HPC / Scientific Software Engineer to join a specialist team delivering high-performance software for large-scale simulations. You will work with C++, Python, and GPU technologies to solve complex scientific challenges in a remote UK-wide role.

The role emphasizes numerical algorithms, HPC systems, and collaboration with researchers to advance state-of-the-art computational capabilities.

Qualifications

Strong programming with C++ and Python for scientific software.
Experience with HPC systems and Linux environments.
Background in numerical simulation or scientific computing.
Familiarity with numerical methods and linear algebra.
CUDA or GPU acceleration desirable.
Research or academia background beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimise and maintain high-performance scientific software in C++/Python.
Design and implement numerical algorithms for complex problems.
Develop scalable software for GPU-accelerated and parallel environments.
Build and improve large-scale modelling and simulation applications.
Investigate new HPC technologies and GPU architectures.
Apply numerical methods and linear algebra to scientific computing challenges.
Improve software performance and scalability.
Collaborate with researchers and engineers to deliver solutions.
Contribute to ongoing research and development of simulation frameworks.
