Job summary

Technical Futures Ltd seeks a Senior Software Engineer (HPC / Backend / API) to join a dedicated team. You will design high-performance backend systems and APIs, using modern Python tooling and Rust, while maintaining strong code quality.

Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH) is available; you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to influence the platform layer and its service APIs in a cutting-edge deep-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and Rust.
• Experience designing systems and APIs between them with a focus on reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve APIs between services coordinating work and state.
• Develop high-performance backend systems with attention to code quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to shape the platform layer.
