Vivid Resourcing Ltd is assisting a Local Authority in Scotland to appoint an experienced Housing Compliance Officer (Gas and Electrical) for a six-month interim assignment. The role is predominantly home-based with a contract of minimum six months, offering remote collaboration with internal teams and contractors.

The candidate will manage compliance data, reporting, and inspections, providing technical input on domestic fire detection systems and EICR processes while liaising with contractors

Qualificações

• Minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, with confidence handling compliance data and reporting.
• Comfortable liaising with contractors, internal teams and regulatory stakeholders.
• Experience within social housing or a similar regulated compliance environment is advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications such as NICEIC, SELECT or Gas Safe would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Procuring and logging compliance data and certificates from contractors
• Preparing compliance reporting outputs, including for regulatory purposes, primarily via spreadsheet
• Liaising with in-house Housing and Assets teams and external contractors
• Attending monthly online meetings to provide technical support to the Contract Administrator
• Forward planning works with contractors for future inspections to maintain ongoing compliance
• Providing informed technical input on domestic smoke and fire detection (LD2) systems, and EICR inspections and follow-up works
• Verifying contractor works, variations and payments
