Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage gas and electrical compliance contracts, ensuring statutory obligations and safety standards are met.
• Oversee inspections, testing, planned maintenance and remedial works.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, budgets and KPIs.
• Identify and manage compliance risks, implementing effective mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, audit trails and performance reports.
• Provide technical advice on relevant legislation, health and safety and regulatory requirements.

Role: Contract & Compliance Manager (Gas)

Pay Rate: £36.53 per hour PAYE, with flexible holiday pay

IR35: Inside

Hours: 37 hours per week

Length of Contract: 7 months

Location: Wembley, London, HA9 0FJ

Hybrid Arrangements:

Contract & Compliance Manager – Gas & Electrical

We are seeking an experienced Contract & Compliance Manager with a strong technical background in both gas and electrical compliance to oversee statutory compliance, contractor performance and maintenance programmes across a property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage gas and electrical compliance contracts, ensuring statutory obligations and safety standards are met.

Oversee inspections, testing, planned maintenance and remedial works.

Monitor contractor performance, quality, budgets and KPIs.

Identify and manage compliance risks, implementing effective mitigation plans.

Maintain accurate compliance records, audit trails and performance reports.

Provide technical advice on relevant legislation, health and safety and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience in contract and compliance management, with a strong background in both gas and electrical services.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, health and safety regulations and contractor management.

Experience developing compliance programmes, managing risk and monitoring performance.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification, or relevant experience.
