Job summary

Pearson PLC is seeking examiners to mark International Advanced Level History responses. Marking will be conducted onscreen using ePEN, with some scripts still processed by post.

Examiners receive an agreed allocation of scripts and must meet marking milestones while maintaining high subject knowledge. Most marking can be done from home, and candidates should have a reliable workspace and access to necessary resources.

Qualifications

• One academic year's teaching experience in the relevant qualification subject.
• Degree or equivalent.
• Qualified teacher.

Responsibilities

• To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
• To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
• To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
• To ensure all administration is completed as specified
