Job summary

t2 Group is seeking an Assessor to support apprenticeship provision in health and social care. The role centers on coaching, teaching and assessing learners in workplace settings, including observations and feedback on written work.

It is largely remote with planned site visits and requires Level 3 in Health & Social Care, plus two years of adult care experience and a full UK driving licence. The role involves travel and delivering end-to-end assessment across learners.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above qualification in Health & Social Care.
• At least 2 years' recent experience in adult health and social care, at senior carer level or above.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement.
• Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards.
• Carry out workplace observations to assess practical competency.
• Review learner work and give timely, constructive feedback.
• Support learners with Functional Skills in maths and English where required.
• Prepare learners for End Point Assessment.
• Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment.
