Tether is seeking a Head of Underwriting to lead underwriting activities across Digital Asset Financing. This senior, hands-on role demands strong financial and credit analysis, sound commercial judgement and deep counterparty risk understanding.

You will evaluate financing opportunities and structure transactions that balance objectives with risk controls. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess counterparties, monitor exposures and continuously refine underwriting methods as

Formación

• 7+ years in underwriting, lending, or digital asset financing.
• Strong financial analysis and counterparty assessment.
• Experience with collateral like BTC/ETH custody and transfers.
• Ability to structure loan terms and manage risk.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead credit assessment from due diligence to approval.
• Analyse counterparty financials, liquidity, and leverage.
• Evaluate digital asset collateral and risk.
• Assess counterparty operations and custodial setup.
• Structure terms: LTV, tenor, covenants, margins.
• Identify counterparty, market, and operational risks.
• Prepare underwriting assessments and present recommendations.
• Monitor exposures and suggest mitigations.
• Collaborate to enable efficient transaction execution.
• Evolve underwriting methodologies for digital asset markets.
