Job summary

Portfolio Payroll, partnering with a leading international health and wellness provider, is seeking a Group Payroll Manager (UK & ROI). The role leads end-to-end payroll governance across the UK, ROI and Europe, driving automation and self-service, with strong focus on system integrations and compliance.

Based in a fully remote setup, you will transform payroll operations, oversee complex cycles, and deliver analytics to support senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing multi-country international payroll operations (UK, ROI, Europe).
• Proven track record of leading, developing, and coaching payroll teams.
• Strong technical capability with payroll software like Pegasus Opera.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end leadership and governance for payroll across UK, ROI and Europe.
• Oversee multi-entity weekly and monthly payroll cycles with accuracy.
• Maintain and configure core payroll systems and drive integrations with HRIS/Finance.
• Lead payroll automation projects and reduce manual processes.
• Manage regulatory relationships (HMRC, Pension Regulator) and data privacy standards.
• Deliver data-driven analytics on headcount, earnings and benefits for planning.
