This entry-level position offers exposure to IFRS-based audits, financial statement prep, and tax computations while enabling growth toward SAICA/SAIPA qualifications. A strong remote-work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., BCom, CTA).
• Completion of or enrollment in SAICA/SAIPA qualification.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in Pastel, QuickBooks and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• High integrity and professionalism; ability to work remotely.
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing financial statement audits for a variety of clients.
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
• Conduct reconciliations and general ledger analysis.
• Assist with tax computations and submissions.
• Support clients with bookkeeping and payroll functions.
• Communicate with clients to gather required information.
• Maintain audit working papers and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to auditing standards and ethics.
• Participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and report on accounting and financial control weaknesses.
