Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Geospatial Analysis Specialist for a remote contract role. You will design, manage, and maintain spatial databases, perform advanced geoprocessing and spatial modeling with QGIS, and develop plugins tailored to project needs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in QGIS, including spatial database management, geoprocessing, and map production.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience automating tasks within QGIS (PyQGIS).
• Thorough understanding of spatial projections, coordinate systems, and data transformation.
• Proven ability to customize QGIS through plugin development or scripting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to produce professional cartographic outputs tailored to various decision-making contexts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple project priorities.
