Job summary

Lion Landscapes, a conservation and research organisation, seeks a strategic and experienced Fundraising Lead to oversee its fundraising strategy, diversify income streams, and strengthen long-term financial sustainability. This permanent, full-time remote role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and prefers candidates based in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of fundraising experience.
• Proven experience securing six- and seven-figure gifts and new income.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic fundraising plans.
• Experience working toward ambitious fundraising targets and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent writing, communication, relationship-building and proposal development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of fundraising activities and develop a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
• Grow unrestricted income and diversify funding sources to strengthen resilience.
• Coordinate donor communications across departments to ensure messaging consistency.
• Lead grant portfolio management, reporting and renewal processes.
• Monitor fundraising performance and develop data-driven reports for leadership.
