Placements24 is seeking a Sales Analyst to join a prominent FMCG team in Randburg, Gauteng. You will provide data-driven insights to guide the sales organization, analyze performance, forecast trends, and generate reports for management.

The role requires strong Excel skills, CRM familiarity, and effective communication. Remote work arrangements are available, with a focus on delivering actionable business insights to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or analytic role, ideally in FMCG.
• Strong data analysis, forecasting, and statistical modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and data visualization experience.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales databases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in Gauteng region is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and KPIs for Randburg territory.
• Develop and maintain sales forecasts, models, and reports to support planning.
• Track and measure effectiveness of promotions and campaigns.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports for management with insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales managers to understand needs and provide data analysis.
• Identify opportunities for sales improvement through data analysis.
• Maintain accuracy of sales data within CRM and other systems.
• Assist in developing and implementing new reporting tools and methodologies.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for strategic projects.
