Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Derivative Sales Analyst on the Institutional team to own and grow relationships with Coinbase's top VIP derivatives traders, driving volume across futures, options, and perpetuals.

You will source new high-value traders from competitor venues, re‑engage dormant accounts, and bring structured market and client insights back to Product, Risk, and Marketing to shape Coinbase Advanced trading offerings.

Qualifications

2+ years in sales or business development in financial services, trading, or crypto.
Fluency in derivatives products (futures, options, perps) via trading desks or exchanges.
Data-driven approach using dashboards, CRMs, and analytics.
Background in business, finance, economics, or related quantitative field.
Pre-existing network of institutional derivatives traders is a plus.
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

Own and grow relationships with top VIP derivatives traders, driving volume and adoption of advanced products.
Source and convert high-value traders from competitor venues through outbound campaigns and relationships.
Monitor market structure and client flows to identify upsell opportunities and deliver insights to product teams.
Maintain a robust pipeline and forecast, documenting interactions in CRM systems.
Activate dormant traders using data-driven incentives to restore sustained volume.
Develop AI-powered workflows to scale coverage across the book.
