Job summary

QAA is seeking a Senior Developer for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover, working in a remote-first IT & Digital Services team. You will focus on web development on our .NET and Next.js platform, extending features, and improving integrations while supporting MS Dynamics.

We value experience across .NET/headless CMS, Azure cloud, and related tools. The role emphasises collaboration, documentation, and delivering robust, scalable solutions from a UK-based home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of building and maintaining websites, ideally on a .NET-based or headless CMS.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing, releases and source control such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Experience of cloud-hosted environments, ideally Azure.
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or the Power Platform would be a real advantage, as would familiarity with SQL Server, SharePoint or Salesforce.
• Proactive, organised, able to balance support issues with development work and communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites on our .NET and Next.js platform; build new features and improve existing pages.
• Integrate systems and support internal business platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Collaborate with IT and Digital Services and other teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation and ensure systems are resilient and well-supported.
