Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in business development focusing on new business sales.
• Proven success selling complex technology, data or consulting solutions into large enterprise organisations.
• Strong prospecting, networking and pipeline generation capabilities.
• Highly resilient, self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to targets.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with confidence engaging senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex enterprise sales processes, navigating long sales cycles and procurement requirements.
• Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities across investment banks, asset managers, broker-dealers and other leading financial services organisations.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, market research and industry engagement.
• Own the full business development lifecycle, from initial outreach and opportunity qualification through to proposal development, negotiation and contract close.
• Develop relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across Compliance, Risk, Surveillance, Data and Technology functions.
• Articulate the value of Data Intellect’s expertise and solutions, delivering compelling presentations and tailored propositions.
• Drive consistent pipeline growth and revenue generation, maintaining accurate forecasting and activity reporting through the CRM.
• Collaborate closely with technical, delivery, and leadership teams to develop winning proposals, RFP responses and client engagement strategies.
• Represent Data Intellect at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
