Job summary

Booksy Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering in the Provider Domain to own the technical strategy and delivery for systems used by hundreds of thousands of independent businesses.

You will lead end-to-end delivery across 4–5 cross-functional teams, setting engineering standards and driving an AI transformation of the lifecycle. Collaborate with Product to translate strategy into engineering initiatives, coaching leaders to operate autonomously.

Qualifications

• Think like a product owner; understand unit economics, funnels and growth.
• Establish engineering rigor: architecture records and standardised processes.
• Embed AI tooling into the engineering lifecycle; measure impact and protect code quality.
• Lead multiple squads through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers in a high-growth setup.
• English language skills at conversational level minimum.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across 4–5 cross-functional teams.
• Set engineering standards and architecture decisions for the domain.
• Lead AI transformation of the engineering lifecycle with measurable impact.
• Partner with Product to align commercial and engineering strategies with experimentation-backed data.
• Build a dense team and coach leaders to operate autonomously.
