Job summary

Bezos is seeking a senior software engineer to own core services end-to-end within a Go/React serverless platform powering global fulfilment. You will mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and ship production-grade code under the Head of Engineering.

We are an AI-native engineering culture using AI daily, with a remote-first setup and occasional in-person meetups. The role offers high impact and fast growth in a scaling business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a senior software engineering role, ideally in a startup environment.
• Strong backend fundamentals and deep experience with Go.
• Extensive experience with AWS, event-driven architecture and serverless infrastructure like AWS Lambda.
• Fluent designing and building RESTful APIs, with a solid grasp of microservice and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own core services end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor other engineers and influence architectural decisions.
• Build with AI-powered dev tools to ship faster.
