Proactive Appointments is seeking a React JavaScript Developer for a fully remote role. You will work on AI-powered SaaS workflows, integrating RESTful APIs and building event-driven architectures using AWS SQS and Kafka.

The role involves collaborating across teams in a remote-first environment, with occasional meet-ups in London and exposure to cutting-edge technologies including AI orchestration, microservices, and Docker.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a React JavaScript Developer (Node.js / ES6+)
• Proven experience with workflow automation, AI orchestration, or LLM-based application development
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures using AWS SQS and Kafka
• Experience integrating and managing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Hands-on experience embedding third-party SDKs into web applications with custom styling and workflow integration
• Proficiency with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, RDS, and related services)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker
• Strong grasp of secure coding practices and performance optimisation
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment
