Job summary

Construction Professionals Recruitment is seeking a Fire Engineer for remote work across the UK. The role involves performing internal and external Fire Risk Assessments, advising on compliance, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex designs.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years PQE, external wall risk experience, and a Level 5 certificate or higher, with IFE membership preferred. Salary ranges from £65,000 to £80,000 with pension and bonus options.

Qualifications

• Retrospective and design fire strategies
• Compartmentation Surveys
• Large and small refurbishment and re-cladding projects
• Fire Protection Work
• Member of IFE
• Level 5 certificate/diploma or above

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Clients, Contractors, Developers and Clerk of Works
• Undertake Risk Assessments in line with current legislation
• Advise on pragmatic, cost‑effective solutions to mitigate risk
• Contribute to fire safety design and reporting in projects
• Support the project team with cost projections and feasibility studies
• Attend client meetings and prepare detailed fire risk documentation
