Job summary

Construction Professionals Recruitment is recruiting for a Fire Risk Assessor based in the United Kingdom. You will complete internal and external Fire Risk Assessments, advise clients on fire safety compliance, and work with multidisciplinary teams on both existing and new build schemes.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years PQE, a Level 5 certificate or higher, and IFE membership. You will liaise with clients, contractors and authorities, producing detailed reports and cost-effective

Qualifications

• Undertake Risk Assessments in line with current legislation.
• Advise clients of pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to mitigate risk where possible.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; decision making based on a clear fire engineering analysis.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal and external Fire Risk Assessments (visual and fully intrusive).
• Advise clients on fire safety compliance within existing and new build schemes.
• Produce Fire strategies and fire safety management plans, planning statements and fire statements.
• Assist with cost-effective remedial solutions where possible.
• Attend client/resident meetings to explain reports and implications of findings.
• Liaise with Clerk of Works, contractors and project teams to ensure compliance.
