Job summary

Shortlist Recruitment is seeking a Support Developer for a growing fintech SaaS provider. The role focuses on investigating production issues, supporting web applications and REST APIs, and collaborating with engineers and clients.

The position is predominantly remote with occasional travel to our Chester offices and is commutable from Liverpool, Wirral, Runcorn, Warrington and North Wales. Competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Application Support or Technical Support Engineering role.
• Experience supporting modern web applications, REST APIs and cloud platforms.
• Commercial experience with Node.js and MySQL.
• Exposure to React or Gatsby.
• Experience investigating production issues and analyzing logs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production and integration issues across web applications and APIs.
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, supporting investigations and resolving queries.
• Monitor application logs, alerts and tooling to identify root causes of issues.
• Contribute to bug fixing, platform improvements and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and external stakeholders to maintain platform stability.
• Support testing, deployments and ongoing maintenance activities across the platform.
