Job summary

National Skills Agency Ltd seeks a Financial Services Tutor to manage a caseload of apprentices, delivering high-quality training, coaching and mentoring to ensure achievement of their apprenticeship and progression to gateway and end-point assessment.

You will train across Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications, monitor learner progress, conduct reviews with employers, and support learners in English, maths, digital skills, and wider employability. A DBS check and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
• CAVA and/or IQA qualification.
• Relevant subject knowledge or qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training and support to apprentices.
• Manage a caseload and monitor learner progress and achievement.
• Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Set targets, identify skills gaps and provide appropriate support.
• Provide feedback and help apprentices prepare for gateway and end-point assessment.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete required documentation.
• Build positive relationships with apprentices, employers and colleagues.
• Identify learners at risk and implement appropriate improvement plans.
• Support English, maths, digital skills and wider employability development.
• Contribute to quality improvement, team activities and business development.
• Maintain current industry knowledge and comply with safeguarding, Ofsted and company requirements.
