Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Finance Business Partner to own end-to-end financials for a key area, combining management accounting with commercial finance, costing and profitability analysis. You’ll collaborate with operational and product leaders to provide insight and challenge that informs decisions.

This full-time, remote role with occasional travel to the Runcorn Head Office offers a competitive salary of £45,000–£50,000 and a range of benefits, with the chance to shape commercial outcomes

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified or part-qualified.
• Experience with month-end, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience producing budgets and rolling forecasts, including variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with robust financial modelling.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end process including journals, accruals, prepayments, income recognition and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and meaningful commentary.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with budget holders to challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and help senior stakeholders understand financial position between cycles.
• Build and maintain robust financial models to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Provide product costing and commercial analysis to support pricing, business cases and contract opportunities.
• Work closely with operational and product leaders, offering constructive challenge and commercial insight.
• Ensure sales and billing information is accurate and manage aged debt with Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, practical insights for non-finance colleagues.
• Build relationships across the business so Finance is involved in key decisions from the outset.
