Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Finance Business Partner to deliver end-to-end financial ownership across a key area, combining management accounting with commercial finance, modelling, costing and profitability analysis.

You’ll partner with operational and product leaders, shaping insight and challenge to inform commercial decisions, while working predominantly remotely with occasional travel to the Head Office in Runcorn.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified with strong experience in finance business partnering.
• Experience in month-end processes, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience producing budgets and rolling forecasts with variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and robust financial modelling.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights for non-finance colleagues.
• Excellent communication to challenge and influence stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in product costing or multi-contract environments.
• NHS/healthcare experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end financial ownership for your area including month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and meaningful commentary.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with budget holders and identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and support senior stakeholders’ financial positioning.
• Build robust financial models to support commercial/operational decisions.
• Provide product costing and contract profitability analysis to improve performance.
• Collaborate with operational/product leaders offering constructive challenge.
• Ensure sales/billing information accuracy and manage aged debt where relevant.
• Translate complex financial data into practical insights for the business.
