Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Finance Manager to lead daily finance operations, deliver accurate reporting and insightful analysis, and drive budgeting and forecasting cycles across the firm, offices, and practice groups.

The role requires 8+ years in finance/FP&A within professional services, with 4+ years in people leadership, and strong skills in ERP/GL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline.
8+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
Minimum 4 years of experience leading or supervising analysts or similar staff.
Advanced proficiency with ERP/GL and time & billing systems; advanced Excel; BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of the firm's financial strategy via models, scenarios, and trend analyses.
Translate strategic priorities into operational plans, reporting packages, and analytics.
Prepare materials and analysis for senior leadership discussions, including dashboards and executive summaries.
Lead day-to-day activities of the finance team, ensuring timely, accurate work and adherence to methodologies.
Provide coaching and development support to team members.
