Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking a Controller to shape how our finance function scales. You will lead accounting operations, drive financial reporting, and implement automation and process improvements to support growth.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will supervise the team and collaborate with HR and department heads to deliver insights and ensure accuracy across financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a service-based company.
• Public accounting or audit experience is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting and monthly closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP/AR functions, including disbursements, client billing, and cash management.
• Own the monthly revenue recognition process and related reporting.
• Maintain GL integrity with postings, journals, and reconciliations; review balance sheets.
