Job summary

SER-IN is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth in its dust and fume extraction division across the Midlands to the South of the UK. This remote field-based role focuses on developing new business, conducting site surveys, and building long-term customer relationships.

You will prepare technical proposals and quotations, work closely with engineering teams, and manage a robust sales pipeline while enjoying a flexible remote working setup and a company car package.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or engineering sales.
• Background in air movement, ventilation, dust extraction, filtration, HVAC, or similar engineering sectors.
• Ability to discuss engineered solutions confidently with customers.
• Willing to travel regularly; located Midlands to South UK.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and customer visits.
• Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and identify suitable technical solutions.
• Generate and manage sales opportunities from enquiry through to order placement.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and customer presentations.
• Follow up inbound enquiries and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Sell the company’s full portfolio of dust extraction systems, filtration equipment, and accessories.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reporting.
