Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK and Ireland, with occasional overseas trips. The role is full-time and remote, with a basic salary around £45,000 plus overtime and travel benefits.

You will install, commission, maintain and repair automated machinery used in glass processing, reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, and training customers on operation.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineer with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
• PLC/servo-controlled systems experience.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel UK, Ireland and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and repair equipment at customer sites across the UK and beyond.
• Provide high-quality technical support to ensure optimum performance.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
• Train customers to operate and repair machines.
• Maintain company equipment and tools in good order.
