Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, service and repair advanced machinery across the UK and Ireland, with overseas travel. The role is fully remote and requires hands-on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills.

The successful candidate will read complex diagrams, provide excellent customer support, and train customers to maximise productivity. A full UK driving licence and passport are essential.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineering experience across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with PLC and servo-controlled systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical diagrams.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including overseas trips.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and valid passport.
• You must have current UK right to work to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites across the UK, Ireland and abroad.
• Provide high-quality technical assistance to customers for optimal performance.
• Document machine information and suggest improvements.
• Interpret wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Collaborate with applications, sales, engineering and production teams.
• Train customers to operate and repair machines to maximise productivity.
• Represent the company professionally during installations and repairs.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle and tools in good condition.
