Job summary

Allianz Engineering, Construction & Power is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to inspect plant and equipment on client sites across the UK. You will join a team delivering hands-on examinations and report findings using electronic reporting for fast client delivery.

You will travel to factories, warehouses and commercial premises, assess pressure, steam and compressed air systems, and contribute to regulatory compliance. An induction programme supports your progression within Allianz.

Qualifications

• Up to date knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules for Pressure Mechanical discipline.
• Experience with pressure vessels, boilers and steam equipment in manufacturing or site inspection roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full valid UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to plan weekly work and travel effectively within the local area.
• Comfortable using tablets/smartphones as part of daily inspections.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of plant and equipment at client sites (factories, warehouses, commercial premises).
• Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting for fast delivery to clients.
• Travel to client sites as required within the local work area.
• Assess installations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
