Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Power Press Engineer Surveyor to visit customer sites across the country, inspecting power presses, brake presses, and related equipment. You will assess safety systems and report findings with practical recommendations.

You will work independently within an allocated area, manage your inspection schedule, and cooperate with a team of surveyors and leaders while benefiting from ongoing training and the company’s comprehensive induction program.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a mechanical engineering-related discipline.
• Experience with power presses, press brakes, injection moulding or woodworking machinery.
• Knowledge of machinery safety principles and health & safety legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to inspect power presses and related machinery.
• Provide clear reports and technical guidance on safety and compliance.
• Travel across the assigned area, manage inspections and client relationships.
