Job summary

Tether is seeking an Event Design Coordinator to manage intake, production, and QA of event-related creative requests across the business. You'll work with designers to turn fast-turnaround briefs into flawless deliverables, including booth graphics, signage, decks, and invites.

This builder-and-gatekeeper role requires spotting risks early and fixing bleed lines, dielines, or vendor deadlines before they become problems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, creative operations, or project management with a strong events component.
• Proven experience managing print and digital production processes; you know what a dieline is, what "safe area" means, and why RGB assets can't go straight to print.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills: ability to manage several concurrent, cross-functional requests with competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable managing stakeholders across teams with different priorities.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, or similar) and design review tools like Figma
• Fluent in English and Spanish / Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Request Intake & Triage: Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related creative requests from varied teams; scope each request with deliverable type, format, quantity, deadline, and brand requirements; flag conflicts and propose workable plans.
• Design Collaboration & Project Management: Brief designers with complete specs; manage multiple workstreams; track status and surface bottlenecks.
• Quality Assurance (Print & Digital): Review every deliverable for brand consistency, copy accuracy, resolution, color mode, bleed/trim/safe zones, formats, and platform specs; catch errors before launch.
• Event Documentation & Knowledge Management: Document assets and final deliverables; organize files for easy access and reuse; maintain vendor details and lessons learned.
• Risk & Logistics Ownership: Anticipate issues like lead times and shipping delays; build contingency plans; coordinate with vendors and production partners.
• Cross-Team Partnership: Liaise between requesters and design; improve intake and review processes based on what goes wrong; manage stakeholders across teams.
