Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a Remote Service Engineer to diagnose and resolve technical issues on charging infrastructure from a remote location. You will use logs, charger data, and cloud-connected service systems to keep networks reliable and to empower field teams.

We value 2–3 years in EV charging or related roles, solid electrical knowledge, Linux familiarity, and strong English communication. Travel is 0–10% and you will contribute to knowledge bases, training, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent in a technical field.
• 2–3 years in service, remote support, or maintenance roles in EV charging or similar.
• Strong electrical knowledge and understanding of charger architectures.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and diagnostic tools.
• Clear, proactive communication in English and ability to document findings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on ABB E-mobility chargers using logs and data.
• Provide remote support to customers, field engineers, and local service teams.
• Assist with tickets, commissioning issues, escalations, and SLA adherence.
• Provide clear instructions for remote resolution and on-site follow-through.
• Create knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
• Support software updates, configuration, and remote testing to improve first-time fixes.
