Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting an Environmental Consultant for our Environmental Claims Division. This permanent, remote-friendly role primarily covers Northern Ireland.

You will conduct on-site surveys, collect vapour, soil and groundwater samples, interpret data, and prepare reports and cost estimates. A degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field is preferred, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental services or related sectors or transferable skills.
• Degree/HND in Environmental Sciences, Geology, Construction, Building/Surveying, Engineering preferred but not essential.
• Full, clean UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• On-site surveys of domestic properties including vapour, soil and groundwater sampling.
• Compilation and interpretation of field and analytical data.
• Preparation of reports, tables, and figures for reports.
• Scoping of remedial works and preparation of costs for the scoped works.
• Planning and scheduling of labour, plant and materials for the works.
• Supervision of staff/subcontractors in investigations/remedial works on domestic properties.
• Engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
