Job summary
Innovative Trials in the United Kingdom/United States is seeking a visionary Business Development Director to drive market expansion for life sciences. You will be the face of Innovative Trials to pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO partners, building high-value relationships and closing strategic deals with senior stakeholders.
Reporting to the VP Commercial, you will orchestrate cross-functional efforts across sales, marketing, and operations to convert opportunities into durable revenue, while
Qualifications
- Ability to travel as required.
- Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of complex business models.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with bias for action.
- A strong list of previous clients/connections within Pharmaceuticals, Biotechs, CROs and others.
- Self discipline.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Growth & Intelligence: design and execute roadmaps to capture new regions.
- High-Stakes Acquisition & Influence: secure high-value contracts with pharma/biotech clients.
- Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Alignment: align sales with product and marketing.
- Commercial Engineering & Revenue Stewardship: shape pricing and deal structures for enterprise accounts.
- Pipeline Intelligence & Sales Administration: maintain CRM integrity and forecast revenues.
