Job summary

Allianz is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to advance your engineering career by conducting inspections of plant and equipment across client sites in the UK. You will work within Allianz Engineering, Construction & Power, supported by an induction programme from day one.

The role focuses on pressure, steam, and compressed air systems, with travel to various sites and report preparation using electronic systems to deliver timely insights to clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with steam generation, compressed air and associated plant.
• Strong customer interaction skills are essential, including good oral and written communication.
• A holder of a full valid UK driving licence.
• Time management skills; able to independently organise weekly work.
• Comfortable using tablets and smartphones as part of daily work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on inspections of plant and equipment at client sites.
• Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting for fast delivery.
• Assess installations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Travel within local allocated work area for site visits.
