Job summary

Fuel Storage Solutions Limited is seeking a full-time Electrician for a remote role in the United Kingdom. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for fuel storage tanks, pipes, pumps, and controls, following safety standards and company procedures.

You will interpret drawings, coordinate with engineering and field teams, document work, and assist with commissioning of new systems. Remote work with occasional site tasks and a focus on safety and quality is required.

Qualifications

• Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including safe installation, wiring and testing.
• Maintenance and repair of industrial and commercial electrical equipment, including scheduled servicing and corrective work.
• Troubleshooting to diagnose faults, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering principles for power distribution, control systems and instrumentation.
• Recognized electrical trade qualification or apprenticeship with current industry licenses.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and components for fuel storage tanks and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with engineering and field teams.
• Document work performed and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Support commissioning of new installations and innovative systems such as APIApipea9.
• Work remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining accurate records.
