WeDo Social Work is recruiting an experienced EHCP Officer to join a busy SEND service on an interim basis. The role involves managing EHCP assessments and reviews, coordinating with education, health and social care professionals, and working closely with families and schools to support outcomes for children and young people.

The position is remote, with statutory deadlines to meet and accurate case records to maintain.

Qualifications

• Experience as EHCP Officer / SEND Case Officer.
• Strong knowledge of the EHCP process and SEND legislation.
• Excellent organisation and case-management skills.
• Experience working to statutory deadlines.
• Local authority SEND experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of EHCP assessments and reviews.
• Coordinating advice from education, health and social care professionals.
• Working closely with families, schools and other stakeholders.
• Preparing and amending EHCPs.
• Ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
• Maintaining accurate case records.
• Supporting effective communication and positive outcomes for children and young people.
