Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Huntingdon is recruiting for a 1-2 month contract role supporting Education, Health and Care (EHC) processes for children and young people with SEND. You will manage statutory duties, draft EHCPs and support annual reviews across schools and partner agencies.

You will work with families, education and health professionals to ensure timely, person-centred plans and effective provision is secured, while maintaining records and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths (A-C/5-9) are required.
• A Level or Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Professional qualification in Education/SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage statutory EHC Needs Assessments and EHCPs for an allocated caseload.
• Draft and amend EHCPs to be accurate and compliant with statutory timelines.
• Prepare cases for panels and implement decisions with appropriate solutions.
• Facilitate multi-agency meetings with families, schools and professionals.
• Monitor Annual Reviews and progress actions and deadlines.
• Respond to consultations and secure suitable educational placements.
• Negotiate provision with schools and providers and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain case records and update case management systems regularly.
