Job summary

Ecoleg LLP seeks a Project, Operations & Resourcing Manager (Ecology) to coordinate field resources and invoicing from a home-based base in Wales. You will balance licensing, manage freelance ecologists, own end-to-end invoicing and keep compliance records up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Experience in resourcing, operations, supply chain or project coordination within infrastructure, environmental or professional services.
• Commercial administration including invoicing, supplier costs and budget tracking without a finance team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with reprioritisation skills.
• Highly organised with sound judgement across competing demands.
• Comfortable working independently in a decentralised, remote-first team.
• Clear, direct communicator able to raise issues and follow up.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule field team across concurrent contracts, balancing licensing and geography.
• Manage freelance ecologist network: sourcing, onboarding, rate agreements and performance.
• Own end-to-end invoicing, ensuring work is billed accurately and on time.
• Maintain licensing, insurance and compliance records to audit-ready standards.
• Act as day-to-day client contact for scheduling and delivery.
• Develop systems and processes to support a growing business.
