Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting DSAT Training Specialists for UK defence projects. Roles involve designing, developing and validating training under JSP 822 guidelines and the DSAT framework.

These positions offer a mostly remote workload with some on-site visits, a 12-month contract, and a rate of £60–£70 per hour inside IR35. You will work with SMEs, designers and assurance teams to deliver robust training solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JSP 822 and the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
• Experience applying DSAT across analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training.
• Experience conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and developing training requirements.
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Experience developing learning objectives, training specifications and assessment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Apply the DSAT methodology and JSP 822 principles across the training design and development lifecycle.
• Conduct and support training needs analysis, identifying performance requirements and learning interventions.
• Develop and maintain training requirements, specifications and training documentation.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to define learning objectives and assessment requirements.
• Design learner-focused training solutions that are measurable and aligned to operational needs.
• Support training strategies and appropriate formative and summative assessment methods.
