Job summary

The National Autistic Society is seeking a Digital Lead within the External Affairs Department, to set the strategic direction for our digital products, platforms and services and lead a Digital Team to drive major projects and transformation. You will champion accessibility, user-centred design and governance while ensuring our digital services deliver impact, value and income generation for the charity.

The role is homebased with occasional travel to the National Autistic Society's London

Qualifications

Significant experience leading digital services, products, platforms or transformation programmes within a complex organisation.
Experience developing digital strategies, product roadmaps and delivery plans.
Strong understanding of digital product management, websites, content management systems and digital platforms.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, neuro-inclusive design and user-centred digital delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the charity's digital strategy, aligning digital services with organisational objectives and user needs.
Lead and develop the Digital Team, setting priorities and building capability.
Manage the roadmap and lifecycle of the charity's website and wider digital platforms.
Lead digital transformation projects and work with stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to deliver successful outcomes.
