Job summary

Xcede Limited is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Architect to lead the shaping of an enterprise DevSecOps platform in a major UK transformation programme. The role focuses on architecture, governance, security controls and platform engineering to enable secure, scalable delivery across teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building or shaping enterprise DevSecOps platforms, leading discovery, and defining pragmatic patterns for platform adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience as DevSecOps/Platform/Enterprise Architect in large enterprises.
• Proven ability to design or shape enterprise DevSecOps platforms.
• Experience defining governance, security controls and best-practice patterns.

Responsibilities

• Shape and define target and transitional architecture for an enterprise DevSecOps platform.
• Lead and contribute to the discovery phase to establish technical scope and operating model.
• Define security, governance and control mechanisms for the platform.
• Assess solutions including JFrog Artifactory and comparable platforms.
• Develop architecture patterns, standards and reference architectures for adoption.
• Work with security, architecture, engineering and delivery stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and support technical decision-making.
• Ensure governance and security controls support developer productivity while meeting enterprise standards.
