Job summary

Xcede Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Platform Engineer to join the Enterprise Platforms / Core Engineering team of a leading UK media and entertainment organisation in London. The role covers AWS, Azure, GCP, Windows and Linux, infrastructure automation, Terraform, configuration management and enterprise platform operations.

You will design, build, automate and operate the organisation’s enterprise platform estate across public cloud and hybrid environments, with responsibilities including

Qualifications

• Experience building internal tools and platform capabilities.
• Advanced Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Production experience with Kubernetes or similar container platforms.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provision, scale and optimise infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash and other scripting languages.
• Build and maintain internal platform tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain monitoring, observability and incident response for platforms.
• Collaborate with application teams on requirements and cost optimisation.
