Job summary

OneView Commerce is seeking a Technical Product Owner with a DevOps background to own the flow of work into our DevSecOps team. You will decide what the team takes on, and in what order, defending rankings with evidence while collaborating with the Sr.

Director and other senior stakeholders. This is an individual contributor role with hands-on DevOps knowledge, a focus on security, and the ability to translate requests into concrete platform, automation, and security stories.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Product Owner or similar backlog ownership role.
• 5+ years in DevOps, security operations, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud providers (AWS / GCP).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as code and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Python/Bash/JavaScript).
• Security practices for cloud infra and pipelines, including access control and guardrails.
• Ability to turn requirements into testable stories with acceptance criteria.
• Skill in ranking infrastructure or platform work against visible feature or customer work and defending the ranking.
• Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own intake path into DevSecOps team, qualifying requests with outcomes and dependencies.
• Rank backlog by urgency and value and publish ranking.
• Propose roadmap improvements with problem, scope, effort.
• Convert roadmap into actionable backlog items and track adoption.
• Limit work in progress and surface interruption costs.
• Write platform, automation, and security requirements as testable stories.
• Own unplanned demand and post-incident remediation, prioritizing against others.
• Coordinate dependencies across internal teams and third parties.
• Report on flow metrics: lead time, WIP, throughput, queue depth, unplanned work.
