Job summary

Ripjar is hiring a DevOps Engineer to safeguard and optimise the infrastructure that underpins our AI-native security platform. You will automate deployment, enhance reliability, and integrate security testing across pipelines in a remote-first UK team.

You'll work with Linux, IaC, cloud (AWS/Azure), containers and networking to support fast, secure software delivery across environments, including on-prem and cloud.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools.
• Experience configuring and securing public cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Experience administering containerised apps with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, JavaScript; familiarity with GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of security testing and monitoring tools (SAST, SIEM).
• Experience setting up monitoring for apps and infra (Prometheus, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment, operation and maintenance of systems in a hybrid cloud environment using IaC and configuration tooling.
• Administer Linux hosts across virtual and physical infrastructure.
• Design, deploy and maintain IP networks.
• Create automated self-serve infrastructure for development teams.
• Enhance security testing integration in build and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor reliability and security of applications and infrastructure services.
