Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote, contract role. You will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while enabling rapid deployments via streamlined CI/CD pipelines.

You will containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate Kubernetes clusters, and automate IaC with Terraform and Ansible. Strong Linux, networking, and IAM expertise are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and networking.
• Hands-on experience with Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management, and enforcing security best practices.
• Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across environments.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.
