Job summary

Evri is seeking a DevEx Engineer to elevate developer productivity and engineering excellence. This remote-first role involves shaping internal tooling, automating workflows and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to empower engineering teams at scale.

Occasional travel to Morley, Leeds will be required for collaboration and cross-team sessions. You will drive build, test and release improvements and collaborate across engineering to embed best practices and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Ability to design scalable tooling and automation for engineering teams.
• Strong collaboration and communication across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Proven track record in debugging and improving build/test/release processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal tools, automation and workflows to boost developer productivity.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for scalability, performance and reliability.
• Deliver end-to-end enhancements across build, test and release processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed quality and efficiency practices.
• Contribute to reusable tooling, templates and shared libraries.
• Apply best practices across DevEx engineering, including observability and automation.
• Write clean, maintainable scripts for internal tooling.
• Support delivery planning and cross-team alignment.
• Troubleshoot issues within developer tooling and pipelines.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvements across engineering domains.
